It keeps all your subscriptions in one place and warns you before each charge — with escalating reminders and a Lock Screen countdown — so you can cancel in time instead of finding out after the money is gone.
Apple doesn’t let apps read your subscriptions, and many services (Netflix, Spotify and others) bill outside the App Store entirely — so no app can see them. You add subscriptions yourself, which is also why the app never needs access to your bank or email. For subscriptions billed through Apple, you can manage them in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
Tap + and pick from the built-in list of popular services, or scan a bill or screenshot — the app recognizes the subscriptions on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Open Settings → Subscription Sentinel → Notifications and make sure notifications are allowed. Also turn on Time-Sensitive notifications so charge reminders can break through Focus and Do Not Disturb.
The app reminds you in time and links you to the service’s own cancellation page. The actual cancellation happens on that service (or, for App Store subscriptions, in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions). Once cancelled, tap “I’ve cancelled” to stop the reminders.
