Subscription Sentinel is built to be private by design. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. Everything you put into the app stays on your own devices and in your personal iCloud.
Subscription Sentinel (“the app”) is an independent iOS app developed by Li Yidong (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how the app handles information.
Nothing that leaves your device. The app has no account, no login, and no server of ours. The subscription details you enter — names, prices, billing dates, notes — are stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database, and are never sent to us or to any third party.
If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud enabled for the app, your subscription data syncs across your own Apple devices through your private iCloud account. This data is stored in Apple’s iCloud under your control; we cannot see or access it. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
When you import a subscription by scanning a bill or screenshot, the image is analyzed entirely on your device using Apple’s on-device text recognition and, where available, Apple Intelligence (the on-device language model). Images and their contents are processed locally and are not uploaded to us or to any server.
Charge reminders are scheduled and delivered locally by your device. We do not operate a push server and receive no information when a reminder fires.
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not use identifiers to track you across apps or websites.
The app never asks for and never connects to your bank, credit card, or email accounts. You enter subscriptions yourself; the app does not read your financial accounts.
The one-time purchase to unlock the app is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Purchase validation is handled by Apple’s StoreKit on your device.
Your data lives on your device (and your iCloud) for as long as you keep it. You can delete any subscription in the app at any time, and deleting the app removes its local data from that device. To remove synced data, delete the app’s data from your iCloud settings.
The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.

本 App 从不索取、也从不连接你的银行、信用卡或邮箱账户。订阅由你自己录入,本 App 不会读取你的 财务账户。
解锁本 App 的一次性买断由 Apple 通过 App Store 处理。我们不会收到或存储你的支付信息;购买 校验由你设备上的 Apple StoreKit 完成。
你的数据只要你保留,就一直存于你的设备(及 iCloud)中。你可随时在 App 内删除任意订阅;删除 本 App 会移除该设备上的本地数据。若要移除已同步的数据,请在 iCloud 设置中删除本 App 的数据。
本 App 并非面向儿童,也不会在知情的情况下收集包括儿童在内的任何人的信息。
若本政策有变更,我们会更新本页面并修订上方的生效日期。
